What is the primary difference between ARC and IRC?
Is ARC the slope of the secant line between two poits and IRC the difference quotient? I'm confused.

both are the difference quotient. the difference is that IRC is the difference quotient when the secant is tangent to the graph (or over an interval of time that minimizes h) and the ARC is the difference quotient over ANY interval of time.
