Handshakes

In preparation for the ACT...

Does any one remember the handshake formula that we learned last year?

Also: what's the formula for the degree of each angle in a regular polygon (based on the number of sides)?

Thanks

Handshake Formula
(n(n-1))/2

Angle Measure of regular Polygon
(180(s-2))/s

Total Angle Measure for Regular Polygon with Sides (s)
180(s-3)

I can't remember all those angle measure formulas, so everytime when i deal with this type of problem, i will do the following:
since the total exterior angle measure for any regular polygon = 360 degrees, any one of the exterior angle for regular polygon with sides s = 360/s. Then any one of the interior angle of this polygon = 180-360/s.
I hope this can help you a little bit. (it works for me!)
