I wasn't here on friday and I am having trouble understanding the questions about projectiles. Did we go over this in class and can anyone explain it to me?

You basically just have to setup a triangle with the hypotenuse as your initial velocity, and use your angle to determine the length of the two legs. The vertical leg represents the initial velocity in the y direction, and the horizontal leg represents the initial velocity in the x direction. Therefore the vertical equation for a projectile would be y=-16t^2+(initial velocity)(sin(angle))t+initial height. The horizontal equation would be x=(initial velocity)(cos(angle))t+initial position in the x direction.
