Quiz 2-1 # 3
In number 3 a function is given for widgets sold at x dollars, but then it asks for the revenue in the formula of r(x). I don't understand what the question is asking for. What is the answer and how do you get it?

The question is basically asking for the value of a single widget that would generate the msot revenue. In order to do that you would have to set up an equation for r(x) Revenue would be (price of widget)*(amount of widgets sold).
r(x)=x*(300-x^2/100)
Then you would graph that function and find the maximum of the graph.
The answer is $100.
