alright this is probably a stupid question, but how exactly do u graph the second function which is like f(sub n) (x).

For like n=4, you just go up to 4 so like for that function, it'd be x-x^2/2+x^3/3-x^4/4. To do this, basically just look at the last term in the formula it says x^n/n so in this case the last term would be x^4/4.
