#'s 35 and 39

I don't understand what # 35 is asking. How are you supposed to find where the tracking station is and then where the satellite will be at 2:05?
And for #39 I'm so confused. How am I supposed to fin the length of AD or BE with out the angle DAC or EBC? I kno that the length of arc DE is pi but then what?

Number 35 was a bit confusing, i didn't really know where the satellite was or i might have drawn the diagram wrong.

For number 39, first figure the unknown lengths of AD and BE using the Pythagorean theorem. Then use the law of cosine and to figure the angle ACE using triangle ACB, and the measure of the angles ACD and BCE using triangles ACD and BCE respectively. Then you can solve for the angle DCE and using the triangle's circumference and the angle of DCE the measure of arc DE could be calculated. The length of the rope would be the sum of AD, BE, and the arc DE.
