Angular and Linear Velocity

Can someone give a quick explanation of how you do these calculations. For example, number 6 on the calculator section. For angular velocity i said that it was 108000000*pi/224.7*24 but i am not sure if that's right. Also, how do you convert that to linear velocity?
Thanks

That is similar to what I put for the angular velocity except 108000000 is the radius because Venus is 108000000 km from the sun, so the entire orbit is 216000000pi.

216000000pi/(224.7*24)=40053pi/hour

Linear Velocity is the angular velocity*radius.
Linear Velocity=Radius*Angular Velocity

in the book, it said angular velocity = revolutions per unit of time * 2pi, so i said

224.7/24*2pi, i divided by 24 because that will give you in terms of earth hours. so i got around 58.83 radians per hour. for the linear velocity, just multiply the 108000... number by 58.83. thats what i got. Tell me if im wrong.

well for part a, i thought of it as one revolution=2*pi, so there would be 2*pi/224.7days, which is the same as 2*pi/5392.8 hours, which equals .001165 radians per hour.

Yeah I agre with Dylan. You have to multiply by 24 to get hours, not divide Manny.
